70 Watt Soldering Iron - BlackJack SolderWerks BK 2050+

The BK2050+ is a compact microprocessor controlled unit, designed to be used with  both standard solder and lead free solder.

It provides reliable  performance with the added benefit of a digital LED temperature display. 

Temperature is set by pushing  independent "+" or "-" buttons and the set temperature is displayed via numeric LED.

The actual tip temperature can be quickly accessed by pushing all three buttons simultaneously; the LED display will change modes and display the actual temperature at the tip of the soldering iron.

When the set temperature has been reached, and the little dot found at the corner of the display starts blinking, soldering can begin.

The chassis is manufactured with very attractive extruded aluminium providing the high-tech look and feel that is consistent throughout the BlackJack SolderWerks series of soldering and rework systems..

The BK2050+ features a grounded tip for protection against electrostatic discharge.

The unit comes with a soft comfort grip pencil iron and a rugged detached aluminium iron holder for more convenient operation.

The unit is calibrated at the factory but there is a convenient calibration port on the front panel for users wishing to re-calibrate or check calibration. 

We stock a broad selection of compatible tips (our range with prefix KD-M-) 

This iron is designed to work with our standard, lower cost soldering iron tips. The 70W power output makes it possible for these tips to work with lead free solder.
