The BlackJack SolderWerks BK6000 Repairing System is a digital
multipurpose reworking system that incorporates a Hot-Air Gun,
Soldering Iron (compatible with leaded solder or lead free solder). It features an
integrated smoke absorber and a Desoldering Gun.
The Hot-Air gun is equipped with a triple protection system which provides
(1) System Cool-Down
(2) Auto System Sleep
(3) Overheat Protect
The System Cool-Down
feature removes residual heat from the hot air gun nozzle when the
hot-air function is switched off. This will allow the nozzle to cool
quicker & also prolong the life of the heating element. The Auto-System Sleep / Overheat Protect
mode incorporates a thermal fuse in the handle of the hot air gun that
unlatches when an overheat is detected. The fuse will re-latch after
the gun has cooled down.
This feature puts the hot air gun into sleep mode after a period
of non use (user definable from 1 to 20 minutes) while the hot air gun
is in its' cradle. When the user picks up the gun, the system will
revert back to the settings in use prior to the period of non use.
The
soldering iron is a lead free compatible system ( NB: it will still also work with
leaded solder). It features fast heat up & recovery to ensure quick
& easy soldering at any temperature setting. In cases where the tip
temperature needs to be calibrated, the Digital Offset feature allows
the user easy calibration to account for larger or smaller tips with a
few pushes of front panel buttons.
The iron also incorporates an auto
sleep function which turns the iron off if no user input has been
detected. This feature may be set as active or inactive. Also included
on the soldering iron is an integrated fume/smoke absorber.
A
further feature of the BK 6000 station is its' suction activated
desoldering gun This system provides the operator with a complete
comprehensive
system to make rework and repair easier and more efficient.
A
handy mechanical arm is included with the BK6000. This arm is easy to
install and is used with the Hot Air gun to provided an "extra hand" for
the operator, making for faster & easier repairs. Using and/or
installing the mechanical arm is optional as the system is fully
functional without it.
This
unit uses the cartridge style tips, which contain the element within the
tip itself, delivering the heat even quicker and benefiting from a
lower recovery time.
